Kathy Webster graduated from Birmingham School of Art in Graphic Design. She worked as a freelance illustrator before concentrating on etching and drawing. More recently she concentrated on painting, especially still life. She has exhibited frequently in the region in group and one person shows.

'My paintings are intimate portraits of domestic objects, flowers and fruit. The way that light catches the rim of a jug or a curve of an apple is the starting point for an intense study.'
