Martin Johnson is a figurative artist and painter, exploring both traditional media and digital art as parallel disciplines.
He has worked in the entertainment industry as a concept artist and illustrator for ten years and has been drawing and painting his entire life.

Mostly self taught, Martin has nonetheless accepted the tutelage of many skillful and experienced mentors and is also a graduate of the NCCA at Bournemouth University.

He has worked on many commercial titles, (including several internationally renowned video games) taught traditional and digital painting techniques at HND level, and continues to work between the pitch team of a local games company and his own freelance studio.

He is constantly striving to reach excellence as an artist and involves himself in traditional painting, life drawing, experimental methods, classical learning and new developments in visual technology as often as he is able.

Martin will be exhbiting work at Gallery150 early in 2011
